I tend to like the nineball and firefly hard. What about everyone else?

FYI my setup(s) are based off a Tanaka VSR conversion.

i would go with the nine ball (purple) if you can. But any nine ball bucking works GREAT! In my BAR 10 (a work in progress) it jumped the FPS up from 366 to 388; it also increased my distance from about 45-50 yards to about 65-70 yards, for a stock springer that is pretty good. Now yes i will be upgrading to a much higher FPS but i can not over look the performance this bucking gave me.  Afro

Nineball (Laylax) & Firefly seem to be the two most-preferred buckings for sniper rifles.

Yes they are. My R&D over the last two years has concluded those two are the best, however recently I have seen the firefly's producing much better groupings past 300ft. The nineball in stock form just cannot do that. I just received a polarstar nubless bucking for testing, so we will see how that goes.

I asked the owner of right hook fabrications about firefly, and he said it works great in aeg's, but in sniper's Nineball (laylax) is the absolute best. So i would definitly definitly go with that, can't go wrong.

I tried a firefly (hard) in my M14, found it to be very inconsistent - seemed impossible to get a proper hop-up setting. I also tried one (soft) in one of my 1911's and it worked (still works) great.

My $.02 FWIW YMMV...

yeah, that makes sense. I think it depends on which gun you use it in, as well as if the particular hop-up you received was made well.

;DThat must have come out of my hands faster than i could think, haven't slept in two days. I think I meant to say we should be getting some, where are those buckings Ben? Cry

I have gone through half a dozen nineballs, with custom spacers and before and after re milling the 2roy chamber and the firefly hard has worked out much better. I have heard laylax has has some less than perfect QC lately...

Kind of like these G&P QD 30mm rings I got...wtf.
